About the Internship

Get ready for an immersive dive into Ad Agency life. You will be a fully-integrated member of the Creative team.

We’re looking for a Copywriter Intern. Someone who writes (and creates things) that make us laugh, cry and wonder. Someone with a unique voice and a distinct point of view, who is passionate about helping brands tell their story and is hungry to make work that gets people talking.

In this role you’ll team up with an Art Director Intern, working together on real briefs, concepting, presenting, taking feedback, and putting in the extra effort to make your work even stronger.

This copywriter intern (could it be you?!) is a smart, hardworking, prolific team player. You’re a writer but don’t necessarily fit into a neat checked box. You do lots of stuff and have a variety of skills and passions. You’re flexible and willing to work on all our clients/projects. We’re scrappy and expect everyone to wear many hats. You’ll work with a team of senior creatives and get direction from our Creative Directors and Chief Creative Officer.

The internship is full time, and you’re expected to be available from 9am PST – 5pm PST Monday through Friday. Interns will be paid $20/hour for the duration of the internship.

Timing

The copywriter internship will run from mid-June through mid-August. Exact start/end dates are flexible based on candidates’ availability. Applicants are encouraged to apply early.

Location

While we believe that an in-person internship provides greater value to the intern, if you are not able to be in San Francisco or Chicago during the program, we are open to remote work. Working locations will have to be pre-approved by Human Resources based on payroll limitations, so please make sure to include if remote or on-premise is preferred and if remote, which city in the United States you will be working from.

The Process

Candidates should have an academic focus on Advertising, Communications, Creative writing, Journalism, or and an ambition to work in Advertising or Marketing communications following graduation. Rising seniors or juniors are preferred.
