Summary
The HR Internship role will be responsible for providing overall support to the Business Affairs Team with a focus in HR. Leading with purpose, the primary responsibilities include supporting the Collective through boundary spanning initiatives that champion accountability, operational improvements, business transformation, leadership + skill development, employee engagement and process improvement. All efforts aim to increase the employee experience and enhance the Culture of EA Collective. This is a paid opportunity.

Responsibilities
- Participate in the planning and provide recommendations for employee engagement assessments.
- Support office-wide initiatives for our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.
- Research new ways to market the company’s employment opportunities to prospective candidates; assist in managing employer brand.
- Help coordinate the performance management process.
- Support HR Team with updating and monitoring HRIS tools in a confidential manner, including maintaining I-9 files, W2’s, Confidentiality Agreements, Offer Letters, and Performance Management Documents.
- Support Learning Management Tool (Lessonly) by gathering documents, videos, images, and web site links to support training. Review and test courses prior to launch.
- Provide travel support by organizing, booking, monitoring, and maintaining group travel arrangements for team members.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or related field. Recent graduates and/or Master students are also encouraged to apply.
- Passion for people and cultivating employee engagement and growth.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on asking questions and listening to understand.
- Ability to work on teams as well as independently.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of HR information.
- Ability to multitask, organize, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to provide exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to investigate, diagnose and resolve issues.
- Proven and effective problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills
- EA Collective offers a flexible hybrid schedule (combination of in-office and remote days). Candidates must be able to work from River North office at least twice a week.
