We are looking for a conceptual and craft-oriented Jr. Art Director with experience and/or a stellar portfolio plus internship experience. We strive to give our clients our best and we seek the same - someone who has brilliant design aesthetics and skills in all aspects of advertising marketing from concept through delivery. The Art Director should be highly collaborative and comfortable in a fast-paced environment, working alongside all teams predominantly on large consumer brands, from account teams and strategy to creative, creating national cross media marketing campaigns.
REMOTE: We expect this position to be 100% remote until which time we feel we can return safely to offices in a hybrid work model – our goal is to provide the opportunity for purposeful collaboration while being flexible to the needs of the individual.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Partner with a copywriter and work under the direction of Associate Creative Directors and Creative Directors to produce unique creative concepts for cross media marketing
- Work with other art directors and/or designers to turn rough comps into final files
- Work with editors and animators to provide correct files for video or animated content (such as logos, type/super design/etc.)
- Animate, design, capture content, and edit videos for various brands
- Resize and/or tailor existing creative assets to various sizes, units and placements
- Add a level of design aesthetic to presentations
- Process and quickly execute internal and/or client feedback on short deadlines
- Degree in Design, Marketing, Advertising, Creative or related field OR portfolio school creative diploma
- 1-3 year’s experience in marketing industry or working internships that equate
- CPG experience is a plus
- Must have online portfolio or pdf representing 360 degree digital and traditional campaign ideas or executions, excellence in design aesthetics, attention to detail and a variety in styles
- Agency experience highly preferred
- Social media experience a must
- Knowledge of Adobe CC programs
- Working knowledge of other programs, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Fast-moving, able to take direction and execute accordingly
- Collaborative, enthusiastic about solving problems, authentic people. Team player who takes initiative and asks questions when needed
