Intern Marketing (Summer 2022)

Summary:

Our interns are exposed to high-level projects stemming from top management, meaning plenty of exposure for you as you look to make connections and build your career. You will understand the entire business, learn all relevant measures to the industry and contribute to projects across Hershey International through extensive training. In this role, you will work with a dynamic group of people around the world and learn how to collaborate across Canada, Mexico, India, Philippines, UK, Brazil etc. while managing cultural nuances. You will understand the consumer and customer around the world, partner cross-functionally and leverage emerging technologies to elevate your learning.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze data to identify new market and consumer trends by mining demand landscape and through on-going social listening
- Recommend new strategies (Gaming, Search, CRM, Social) by analyzing consumer insights and mapping them to brands across countries
- Develop business cases, best practices, conduct competitive assessment and present to the international leadership teams
- Create and design promotional and marketing materials to deliver engaging consumer experiences (videos, bundle books, interactive material)
- Define monthly dashboards for marketing leadership team and e-commerce leadership team to monitor business landscape and identify risks/opportunities.
- Partner with cross functional teams (R&D, Supply Chain, Finance) across Hershey international to write concepts and assist with innovation
- Test & learn new digital, social marketing tools/platforms that drives purchase across the consumer and shopper journey
- Support the international ‘Center of Excellence’ marketing team in developing marketing strategies that are in-line with global objectives and local KPIs
- Networking – Meet & Greets, Leadership Coffee Chat sessions
Qualifications:
Required:
- Undergraduate (current junior or senior)
- GPA of 3.0 or above

Preferred:
- Pursuing Marketing/ Business / Psychology or related field
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and any video creation software
- Passionate about all new social and digital trends
- Strong communication skills
- Speak more than 1 language (Spanish and or Portuguese) is preferred but not mandatory
