Applicants will be offered a role in one of the three participating functions of Marketing, Merchandising, and Inventory Management, and work in each of these areas learning our core business processes and store operations. Strategic Sourcing
The Strategic Sourcing Department at Sephora sits within our Store Development Team and manages vendor relationships for indirect spend, contractors and coordinates, supports and implements sustainability and risk mitigation initiatives across the company.
As a Strategic Sourcing intern, you may be involved in, but not limited to:
- Support the development and documentation of the Strategic Sourcing teams’ policies and procedures
- Help build out training materials for our in-house sourcing tool
- Support the team in ad-hoc projects, including cost analysis, benchmarks, etc
- Network with industry leaders and peers. Our Sephora executives are committed to investing in our interns and want to hear from you. Interns can expect to attend meetings with top leaders in the company.
- Get exposure to cross-functional teams. Sephora has a highly collaborative culture so you are encouraged and expected to work closely with other related teams such as Legal, Finance, Information Security, Property Development, IT, Supply Chain, Marketing and Retail Operations.

What you will accomplish:
- Lead or assist on projects using a hands-on approach
- Contribute to helping build out training documentation around our policies and procedures

To help ensure success, we are requiring the following characteristics, skills and experiences:
Education and experience:
- Currently working on completion of Bachelor’s degree in related field (Supply Chain, Business, Legal, etc) and is currently a junior or senior in credit hours
- Basic understanding and/or interest in strategic sourcing
- Comfortable working in a highly ambiguous and dynamic environment where role may adapt based on business demand
- Experience working in a cross-functional organization with ability to drive consensus and achieve business goals
Characteristics:
- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills – can effectively and accurately create training materials
- Strong organizational skills and ability to think outside the box
- Eager to learn, positive attitude, highly motivated
