As you enter your junior or senior year of college, are you ready for your next challenge?

A paid summer internship with FNIC offers you a career-building experience within the insurance industry. You will also receive feedback from an assigned mentor who works with you to enhance your development. These part-time or full-time opportunities are offered May to September.

To meet the needs of our clients, the finance and insurance industries have had to stay ahead of the curve as it relates to technology and FNIC is no different. As a Technology Services Intern, you will work with mentors and assist all departments with their technology needs and inquiries and help to ensure that we are always one step ahead. What’s the work like?

You will…

  • assist employees with day-to-day technology issues
  • work with mentoring manager on a variety technology related projects which may include but are not limited to:
  • company intranet and documentation (company Wiki)
  • carrier websites
  • preparing and setting up company IT equipment (hotel spaces, conference rooms, remote workstations)
  • email templates
  • Desktop Central (update images and add laptop images)

What do I need to know?

  • Must be able to work 20+ hours/week during your internship
  • Must be at least a junior or senior in college
  • You have to…
  • have a high school diploma
  • have a proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • excellent troubleshooting skills
  • an ability to work independently AND strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
