Centric Brands is excited to invite the next generation of creative, curious, and collaborative interns to join us for the SUMMER OF 2022 Internship Program. Rising Juniors, Seniors and Recent Graduates are eligible to apply for a summer position.
Centric Brands is a leading lifestyle brand collective that designs, sources, markets, and sells high-quality products in the kids, men’s and women’s apparel, accessories, beauty, and entertainment categories. Our portfolio includes over 100 owned and licensed brands including; Calvin Klein®, Tommy Hilfiger®, Under Armour®, Joe’s Jeans®, Hervé Léger®, Kate Spade®, Timberland®, Disney®, Marvel®, Nickelodeon®, Zac Posen®, Hudson®, Robert Graham®, and Taste Beauty®.
Our internship program is designed to immerse participants in the business and culture of Centric Brands to help you develop a strong cross-functional foundation. Our program also pairs you with mentors who are experts in their field for one-on-one learning and professional development. We are also very interested and invested in the knowledge and unique talents you bring as an individual. Your ideas and energy directly contribute to the success of Centric Brands.

Interns accepted into our SUMMER 2022 paid ten (10) week program will:
- Work closely with our brands and businesses,
- Collaborate on innovative team projects,
- Attend business focused, brand focused and career focused learning sessions and
- Participate in our volunteer and socially conscious programs – including our philanthropic and diversity & inclusion committees.
We are looking for a
3D Apparel Design Intern
to support the following:
- Build and Maintain 3D Libraries including blocks, fabrications, stitches, trims, & avatars.
- Assist 3D team in supporting Apparel teams by checking patterns POMs.
- Transform digital pattern files into 3D silhouettes for divisions.
- Establish best practices & creating SOP’s relating to virtual imagery and product development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to work for the full 10-week program from June 6th to August 12th - able to work fully remote
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design or related field - Must be rising Juniors or Seniors
- Extensive knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, silhouettes, color ways, sewing techniques, fabrication and trim; familiarity with print design and manufacturing.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, CAD.
- Digital Pattern Making, 3D design and PLM experience a plus.
- Experience using Gerber, Lectra, or Optitex, a plus.
- Experience in Browzwear, Clo3D, and Optitex, a plus.
- Ability to work across multiple categories including dresswear, sportswear, and sleepwear.
