Internship - Cloud Foundation Team (Hybrid Workplace Model)

3.8

Research shows that women and underrepresented groups only apply to jobs only if they think they meet 100% of the qualifications on a job description. IMO is committed to considering all candidates even if you don’t think you meet 100% of the qualifications listed. We look forward to receiving your application!

Work that is meaningful. A job that has impact. Colleagues that inspire. That’s what you’ll find at Intelligent Medical Objects (IMO), a growing health IT company creating clinical terminology and insights solutions that are used by more than 500,000 US physicians and 4,500 US hospitals to power better patient care and support meaningful analytics.

At IMO, our Cloud and Foundation Team (CFT) takes the lead on defining standards and scalable architectures for our internally developed cloud-hosted applications throughout the Software Engineering organization. CFT members partner with our application development teams, working together to build, deploy, and support a reliable, resilient, and secure cloud-first platform. The CFT role is a software engineering role that requires not only an understanding of how our systems are meant to work but also understanding new technologies that can propel our products into the future.

Additionally, our engineers take the lead on proactively implementing non-functional requirements which enable us to meet the objectives set out in our Service Level Agreements (SLA). We leverage Amazon AWS as our cloud provider and embrace tools and frameworks for automation and continuous delivery, including Scrum, TFS, Octopus Deploy, Terraform, AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy, and more.

Internship Location: This internship will follow a hybrid workplace model to foster collaboration as well as flexibility. Please only apply if you will be able to do both remote and on-site work at our Rosemont, IL offices (HQ).
