2022 Summer Internship Program
Our compensated 10-week Internship Program is designed to give rising junior and senior undergraduate students a challenging, hands-on experience in the technology industry. Interns will join our collaborative, friendly work environment to participate on meaningful projects to support our business. Our goal is to foster the growth of highly motivated, talented individuals that would like to join us as repeat interns and/or ultimately regular full-time employees.
2022 Program Dates: June 6th through August 12th
Essential Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of technology tracking and scanning preferred
- Research key technologies that connect to the technology strategy and may apply now or in the future to Vertex
- Explore how they can be applied, the market landscape, and the competitive landscape
- Update internal portal with research and educational materials
- Provide readouts to the team on what is found and how it may apply
- Open to exploring some of the technologies to get a deeper understanding of them
- Identification and use of automation tools to aid in the tracking and scanning
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Technology background / major (Computer science, AI, Data Science, etc.)
- Good written and oral skills
- Good research skills
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, and creative
