A role you will love

We are offering a valuable, dynamic ten to twelve weeklong internship (May 2022 to August 2022) for students – college or graduate school. The time will be spent working within our US Corporate Actions organization. This internship will provide hands on experience working with some of the most seasoned and established professionals from the fields of corporate actions consulting and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) services.

In addition, interns will participate in virtual weekly info sessions designed to enhance their own knowledge of corporate actions M&A) generally and our business specifically. This internship will give you exposure to a multitude of different projects and will provide you with a basic understanding of the business world – incredibly valuable no matter what field you are currently studying or what your long-term career goals are.

This intern position is primarily responsible for the project planning and execution of Corporate Action projects while reporting to the CA management Team. The position acts as a contact for internal business and other Project Managers and is primarily responsible for coordination and execution of CA projects. This position is responsible to ensure that we effectively manage CA projects.

  • Coordinates all aspects of project planning and execution of Corporate Actions projects. Reviews offering materials, merger documents and SEC filings to ensure the web terms are applied. Serves as the liaison between the business, operations, and the technology resources for web development with the goal of consulting with business unit management and personnel to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, data scope, usage, formatting, and security requirements
  • Works closely with a variety of business units and other stakeholders (external clients) to achieve operational and administrative readiness and ensure successful implementations of CA web deals
  • Coordinates with on client-specific and/or large-scale CA web development efforts
  • Uses industry standard analysis techniques to uncover client's CA web requirements such as data flow modeling, use-case analysis, and data modeling
  • Performs the CA web project management role for projects of medium to high complexity, define the scope and managing the timelines and goals of the project
  • Other project management duties assigned by management


What will you bring to the role?

As we view our interns as an integral part of our team, we are looking for individuals who are:

  • Junior and Seniors only in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university with a GPA of 3.0 and over.
  • Pursuing a business or financial degree.
  • Able to demonstrate a willingness to take on projects, learn new things, and contribute meaningfully to the research and work we produce.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, advanced knowledge of Excel preferred.

Demonstrated ability/Prior experience:

  • Writing detailed business requirements and producing demos for external/internal clients
  • Understanding of software development life cycle and methodology in order to relate to M&A jobs
  • Awareness of QA testing procedures and scenarios
  • Interface effectively with business area end-users
  • Research and understand existing business processes and application structure for CA web
  • Work both independently and cooperatively to define and develop effective solutions for complex business processes
  • Proven knowledge and experience in gathering requirements, functional design, and working with web transactions and other business processes
  • Ability to work in fast paced technical environment
  • Possess excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
