GSD&M is a creatively-driven, full-service agency born and raised in the heart of Texas.
We're looking for a Summer 2022 Copywriter Intern to join our team to gain invaluable, hand-on experience about the advertising industry.
Must be enrolled as a relevant junior, senior or graduate-level student (Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Design, Art, Communication). *Must be enrolled in a Creative Sequence or Portfolio School/Program.*

In addition to learning what agency life is like, a GSD&M Copywriter Intern will also:

• Be mentored by Creative Directors and seasoned GSD&Mers
• Build your writing portfolio with real client work
• Follow agency creative briefs and learn process for life cycle of projects/campaigns
• Concept for client projects
• Learn craftsmanship and detail in copywriting

Key Characteristics/Desired Competencies for Creative Internships:

• Must be an ad geek
• Must be a student of the craft
• Must be hungry, eager, and accountable
• Must be willing to work on any tiny little piece that comes along
• Outgoing, personable
• Team-player
• Willingness to learn

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled as a relevant junior, senior or graduate-level student (Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Design, Art, Communication)
• Must be enrolled in a Creative Sequence or Portfolio School/Program
• Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Must be available during the summer (6/6/22-8/26/22)
• Must be able to work 40 hours a week
• Open to Remote Applicants (ability to be in Austin office preferred)
• Previous internship(s) are a plus, but not required
• Experience with social media campaigns are a plus
