About the team
The SAP SuccessFactors User Assistance team is a world-class technical communication organization that sets the standard for how product documentation creates value for SAP customers. We’re looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our team for an internship on the North American side of our global team. In this role, you’ll support our team’s global strategic initiatives including things like using data insights to drive content strategy, leveraging data to identify KPIs, and exploring the connection between in-product support, taxonomy, structured content, and how they work together to foster customer loyalty.
As a member of our team, you’ll get to use real-world data to break ground on the role that data science plays in the world of technical communication. You’ll support the release of new features in SAP’s largest cloud, SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite. This internship is a great opportunity to develop a solid foundation in using data science to solve issues that are present at the cross between cloud-based enterprise software and customer-facing documentation.

In this role,
- Deliver actionable insights regarding our approach to content delivery
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to track key customer metrics
- Assess trends and Identify customer behavior
- Contribute to the delivery of enterprise software documentation
- Experience the documentation lifecycle, from planning to release
- Drive a data & analytics strategy that directly impacts the customer experience
- Develop and understand task-based, structured content, and the tools used to deliver enterprise documentation
- Learn about taxonomy and its implementation and governance
Who you are:
We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
To be successful in this role, you should be:
Be a strong verbal and written communicator- Experienced in research, interviewing, and note-taking
- A self-directed critical thinker
- A Junior or graduating Senior in any of the following programs: Data Science or Information Systems with an emphasis on Data Management & Analytics, or other data and analytics disciplines
Other skills
Ability to share data through the dashboard and other visualizations- Power BI
- Project Management
- Writing skills
