Location: Sephora Field Support Center (FSC) – San Francisco (Remote eligible)

2021 Summer interns will be eligible to apply for a fulltime position in our newly created Rotational Management Program launching mid-2022 designed to support a diverse talent pipeline and build our future inclusive leaders. Applicants will be offered a role in one of the three participating functions of Marketing, Merchandising, Inventory Management and work in each of these areas learning our core business processes and store operations. More information on the Program experience and application process will be available later this year.

As a Visual Creative intern you will:


  • Brand Builder: Partner with Art Director and Senior Designer to develop and build strong brand creative. Support in brand execution to ensure consistency across brand through all channels. Research to support building concepts and develop visual design standards for our brand.


  • Strategic Executer: Partner with Art Director and Senior Designer to execute strategic marketing campaign concepts. Support in integration of design across all channels including, but not limited to: window stories, print collateral/direct mail, in-store graphics and event materials.


  • Creative Collaborator: Partner closely with Editorial, Digital and Marketing teams to execute creative concepts for robust 360 client experience.


  • Design Expert: Execute projects with thoughtful and elevated design. Understand design and typographic fundamentals and provides new and exciting design solutions and POV.


  • Passionate Creative: Work to further design and art direction expertise. Spend time educating oneself in industry knowledge i.e. photographers, models, agencies and honing design and typographic skills. Help build reference library for creative inspiration and reference.


  • Network with industry leaders and peers. Our Sephora executives are committed to investing in our interns and want to hear from you. Interns can expect to attend meetings with top leaders in the company.


  • Get exposure to cross-functional teams. Sephora has a highly collaborative culture so you are encouraged and expected to work closely with other related teams such as marketing and content production team.

  • Contribute to concepting, art direction, design layouts, social forward thinking and strategy

To help ensure success, we are requiring the following characteristics, skills and experiences:


We’re excited about you if you are:

  • Currently working on completion of Bachelor’s degree in Graphic/Communication design or a related field and are currently a junior or senior in credit hours
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), After Effect, Final cut pro, and new Media
  • Passionate about beauty/fashion


Time Commitment:

  • Hours: 36 (expected to work 5 days every week during standard business hours)
