ERM is actively seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Analyst to join our corporate Finance team team across North America (Remote). As part of the Finance team, the successful candidate will work closely with senior finance and business leaders to develop financial budgeting, modeling, and forecasting tools and maintain reporting functions for the business. This function supports the analytical engine for the North American Finance team, and will provide insight and support decision making in relation to ERM’s financial goals. This is an exciting opportunity for junior finance professional to be able to work across business units and collaborate with senior leaders throughout the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, enhance and maintain financial reports, budgets and models for multiple business entities.
  • Provide in-depth financial analysis to identify potential short-term and long-term financial issues that could impact ERM’s business.
  • Prepare and compile draft analyses, commentary, presentations, and executive summaries for senior business and finance leaders.
  • Perform benchmarking activities and ERM’s financial performance against competitors in the industry.
  • Review and assess potential acquisition targets.
  • Assist commercial management and senior finance leaders with pricing functions for ERM’s services and contracts.
  • Implement new workflow development for financial processes and best practices.
  • Support North America pricing initiatives as directed.
  • Support ad-hoc business reviews as directed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • 1-3 years of related work experience – internships included.
  • Significant hands-on experience developing MS Access or SQL Server is a must.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) skills required.
  • Proficient in visualization software such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience with workflow management.
  • Strong written communication ability.
  • Goal driven and resourceful; able to meet tight deadlines and produce high quality work.
  • Team orientated with excellent communication skills.
