Internship: Business Technology Solution
New employees who are hired into remote or hybrid positions between January 2, 2022 to December 31, 2024, will receive $500 toward the cost of establishing consistent internet connectivity, payable upon completion of 6 months of employment.
Location and Hours:
This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at the government center in downtown Minneapolis 300 S 6th St. Minneapolis, MN, various service center locations and remote as job duties require. Internships require working 15-20 hours per week. When school is not in session interns may work up to 40 hours per week depending on students’ interest and availability. Work hours may be scheduled around students' class schedules, but must fall within the regular office hours of Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Duration of internships may last from 6 to 12 months..

In this position, you will:
- Provide IT technical support to the department's internal customers
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and problem solve
- Create test scripts
- Write IT documentation
- Collaborate with our team of IT professionals
- Current enrollment in good standing as a junior or senior in a bachelor's degree program related to Computer Science or Information Technology as of Spring 2022.
- Access to reliable transportation
