Summer 2022 Internship: Neuromodulation (Software Engineering)

Micro Systems Engineering has an internship opportunity for a self-starting, strategic thinking Engineering student for our Neuromodulation team in Portland, Oregon. This hands on opportunity will allow the student to utilize their skills and training in a practical environment with our team of innovative engineers within Research & Development. The ideal candidate will be be interested in utilizing their skills for a variety of potential projects, all having to do with furthering research and development as well as operations for our innovative product lines. Candidates must have an entrepreneurial mind with a passion for working in a company that is focused on improving patient lives.

The MSEI NRO R&D Group is looking for a qualified SW engineering intern to support the release of Biotronik’s first-ever neuromodulation system. This intern will support the development of monitoring and tracking tools for the field release of our first product, as well as supporting the identification, development, and deployment of new SW tools and technologies in support of our R&D roadmap. Tasks include:

General Useful Skills/Abilities:

• Education: SW engineering, or EE/BME with strong SW experience.
• Must be enrolled in or about to graduate from an accredited university. May be an undergraduate or graduate student.

Location:

• On-site preferred (due to experimental support), but remote will be entertained.
