Reporting to the Virtual Care Senior Program Manager, the summer intern will conduct research, data analysis, and literature reviews to drive the impact of CCA’s virtual care mode. Potential projects may include:
This paid summer internship is a part of CCA’s structured 12-week Summer Internship Program that is designed to give a select student cohort hands-on experience in an innovative health care setting and the opportunity to explore a potential career within our growing organization. As the Virtual Care summer intern, this individual will gain deep experience at the forefront of virtual care innovation and will develop skills including but not limited to cross-functional communication, report building, workflow development, vendor relations, etc.

Reporting to the Virtual Care Senior Program Manager, the summer intern will conduct research, data analysis, and literature reviews to drive the impact of CCA’s virtual care mode. Potential projects may include:
- Leveraging the literature to develop an evidence-based digital literacy curriculum to help reduce the digital divide amongst CCA members.
- Conducting a literature review and develop use cases for asynchronous clinical practice and/or virtual first triage practices.
- Conducting a literature review and market analysis on how health plans are utilizing remote patient monitoring services and how CCA may leverage this new technology.
- Monitoring evolutions in the virtual care / telehealth space and keep the team up to date on identified trends or upcoming changes in technology/programming/policy.

Qualifications:
- Current graduate student in related field (social work, public health, public policy, health management, etc.); rising undergraduate juniors and seniors may be considered with relevant research and/or internship experience
- Experience in healthcare and/or research setting; knowledge of telehealth landscape and Medicare-Medicaid preferred
- Commitment to improving health care and social supports for Medicare-Medicaid enrollees and complex populations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
