Finance & Operations Intern

Marvel, a top-tier entertainment company, is seeking a well-organized and highly motivated individual for a summer – fall internship that will directly report to the Co-President. The role will support the Co-President and several departments (including the Finance, Business Development, Business Intelligence, and New Media Marketing teams) with day-to-day tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities :
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the Co-President
  • Assist Finance team with ad hoc analyses for consumer products, games, publishing, and digital media LOBs
  • Pull and analyze monthly P&L data from the general ledger
  • Maintain revenue pipelines for Senior Management
  • Help develop and track KPIs for Marvel’s publishing business
  • Assist Business Development team with operational trackers and RPG play test
  • Assist Business Intelligence team with data aggregation and summary level reporting
  • Collaborate on Dashboard Design and Stakeholder Insights Presentations (ppt, etc.)
  • Assist Marvel Insider team with activity/reward set-up & tracking and maintain marketing calendars
  • Support departments with other various tasks as assigned


Basic Qualifications :
  • Familiarity with the Marvel brand
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organization skills
  • Strong sense of urgency, confidentiality, and accountability
  • Competent in quickly and efficiently following up on projects and communications
  • Ability to set and achieve extremely high standards
  • Team player attitude


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Resume must outline other internships, degrees earned, work experience, related clubs and organizations, current major course of study, expected graduation date and extracurricular activities
  • Cover letter must include a personal introduction, and days/times available during internship period
  • Preferred Junior or Senior-level standing
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

Required Education :
Must be enrolled in college or university
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program by arrival date
  • Junior, Senior Undergraduate Program student status by arrival date is preferred

Additional Information :
I nternship Eligibility:
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • All candidates must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session.
Program Dates:
  • All candidates must be available from May/June 2022 through December 2022
  • All candidates must be available to work a minimum of 21-29 hours per week during a Monday through Friday schedule during business hours (hours and days to be determined by your supervisor)
  • All students must provide a consistent, reliable work schedule during the session
Work Environment:
  • This internship is a remote internship. The internship requires a working, reliable internet connection, as well as a quiet, dedicated work space.
