We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our agilon health team for a paid Summer internship and contribute creative ideas to help achieve our business goals. Throughout your internship, you will be placed working within teams across several key functions and exposed to any number of projects. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with knowledgeable professionals, mentors and health care industry experts
Job Summary:
Intern will assist different business teams with various administrative tasks and business processes during a 10-12 week assignment in a funcational area or business entity. The opportunity will provide the intern to network with organizational leaders, colleagues and peers.
Essential Job Functions:
Learn the agilon health business model and fundamentals of value-based care and how agilon’s vision, mission and values leads to the business model and overall success
Participate in formal orientations and trainings with other new hires
Develop and complete projects in functional area of assignment
Collaborate on projects with other departments to work as a team to achieve the outcome
Contribute ideas as to create efficiencies in assigned area of work

Provide excellent customer services skills, including consistently displaying awareness and sensitivity to the needs of internal and/or external clients. Proactively ensuring that these needs are met or exceeded.
Ability to prepare deliverables while exhibiting professionalism, maturity, and insight throughout interactions internal and/or external clients
Engage in excellent communication which includes listening attentively and speaking professionally.
Participate in projects and other duties as assigned
Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work product
Qualifications:
Pursing Bachelor’s Degree (Rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior)
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-directed but able to work with a team
