B. Riley’s summer internship program is an on-the-job training experience for rising college seniors, offering a unique opportunity to learn at a rapid pace from accessible leaders who are all recognized experts across several practices and sectors. We have one session beginning June 20, 2022 – August 12, 2022.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • To demonstrate leadership and adaptability, with the willingness to take ownership of tasks or projects
  • Develop project plans with the intention of delivering requires such as resources, timing/milestones and risks
  • The ability to achieve goals and success across functionalities
  • Drive to overcome the most challenging obstacles and look for ways to improve results
  • Methods of integration, data fabric, databases, data warehouses
  • Provide support for other ad-hoc projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited college/university and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree
  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior
  • Actively pursuing majors as Networking, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Computer Engineering or a similar field
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
  • Meaningful experience of a working environment through daily responsibilities and challenging projects
  • If experience allows opportunities in DevSecOps, C#, ~~~, PythonAbility to work in a self-directed manner in a project or deadline-driven environment
  • Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships at all organizational levels
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and be a contributing member of the team
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to learn and quickly grasp concepts and information to apply to work assignments
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and initiatives while maintaining a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and/or participation in extracurricular activities
  • Desire for a career in the financial services industry
