About the team


North American Sales Operations are a fast-paced environment that supports North American Sales. The Operations team of about 40 people works closely with sales leadership and sales reps to ensure that our business runs smoothly. We lead many central processes such as Sales Forecasting, Sales Territories and Quotas, and Pipeline Health. Sales Operations has access to data that is critical to provide insights to identify areas of concern and opportunity.

In this role, you’ll:


SAP Global Sales Operations primary responsibilities:


  • Prepare sales leadership teams for ad hoc business reviews
  • Develop deep analysis on the state of the business and deliver insights to sales leadership
  • Promote collaboration among all sales teams to drive toward a unifying goal
  • Identify opportunities for sustainable growth in the business
  • Develop and execute on franchise sales model to enable our sales force with the tools, processes, and foresight to provide a consistent and valuable experience in every customer engagement
  • As a Global Sales Operations intern, your role will be to assist the Global Sales Operations team members in carrying out these functions.


Expectations & Tasks


Main responsibilities include the following:


  • Assist in creating business analysis for the operations team along with executive leadership
  • Provide support across North America to drive strategic operations initiatives
  • Work with operations subject matter experts to develop and execute on globally accepted best practices across the North America sales teams
  • Complete other tasks and projects requested by the Global Sales Operations Team

Skills / Competencies


  • Ability and motivation for self-learning
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and respond to requests under tight deadlines and in a dynamic working environment
  • Solid ability with Microsoft Excel and the ability to improve on those skills while on the job
  • Prefer Candidates that are experienced with Pivot Tables, VLook-up, and Sum If



Educational Requirements


  • Undergraduate majors in Business Administration: Finance, Accounting, Management, Sales
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA



Qualifications


  • Requires candidates to currently be enrolled in an undergraduate, Masters's, MBA, or Ph.D. degree program which is applicable to the position.
  • Completion of Sophomore, pre-Junior, or Junior course level
  • Completed coursework: Finance, Accounting, Business Strategy, Business Operations, Sales
