Chewy seeks detail obsessed, self-motivated and enthusiastic students to join our team as Accounting Interns, supporting our corporate accounting team based in our Ft. Lauderdale, Florida office. As a member of the accounting team, you will get firsthand experience in the many facets of corporate accounting and gain invaluable experiences as we execute and achieve business objectives in this fast-growing and evolving industry. What You'll Do:

From Day 1, interns are empowered to make a lasting impact on their teams by combining project-based work with professional development, networking and social engagements, and mentoring. As an accounting intern, you will have the opportunity to take ownership, drive processes and support our business needs as we strive to exceed our customers’ expectations at every step. Being a member of this business-critical team will provide exposure to all areas of corporate accounting, and give you a real flavor for what it’s like to build a career at Chewy!

What You’ll Need:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Accounting (juniors preferred, sophomores eligible), with intent to return to school after the internship concludes
  • Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Proven leadership experience, through academics, athletics or extracurricular activities
  • Ability to learn quickly and drive your work forward in an ambiguous environment
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week internship
  • Current permanent U.S. work authorization required

Please note that this internship is not remote and will be located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL office. We do offer relocation assistance for students outside the immediate metropolitan area.
