Divvy welcomes up-and-coming Finance & Accounting talent for a 15–week FinTech internship program.
During your time, you will contribute to key functions in the Customer Success department. This paid internship will provide you with entry-level work experience in customer success at one of Utah’s high-growth start-ups.

If you are a top academic performer going into your junior or senior year of school pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and have a competitive nature, Divvy could be the place you’ve been dreaming of. The internship runs from May 2 to August 12.

As part of the Revenue organization, The Customer Success department crosses paths with nearly all other departments. You’ll have a chance to interact with team members from those departments as well as engage closely with Divvy’s revenue leaders. By the end of the internship, you’ll have gained insight into much of Divvy’s business, engaged in career & personal development trainings, learned Divvy’s product and seen what it takes to be successful in a revenue organization at a high-growth company.

What You Will Be Doing

  • 15 Week Program (May 2 - Aug 12)
  • Engage in regular training meetings with other interns and customer success team members.
  • Support Divvy’s payment services team. This team manages the fulfillment side of the accounts payable process for Divvy’s largest customers.
  • Learn the details of customers’ accounts payables processes.
  • Create spreadsheet templates in Excel to manipulate payment data and efficiently process payments.
  • Manage email inboxes and answer vendor inquiries for a handful of Divvy’s largest clients.
  • Manage virtual credit card limits for secure payment processing.
  • Call vendors to ensure payments are received and processed in a timely manner.
  • Track payment file information in Salesforce.
  • Participate in proactive, virtual customer engagements.
  • Reconcile payment files to ensure payments are processed correctly.
  • Learn how a customer success department functions at one of Utah’s fastest growing companies.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting, preferably in your Junior or Senior year
  • Basic knowledge of finance & accounting principles
  • Be a self-starter and exhibit a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Willingness to learn from Divvy’s leadership and customer success team
  • Able to intern full-time in the Draper office
