Job Responsibilities for HR Intern
- Source passive candidates through different media tools and resume databases.
- Post, update, and remove job advertisements/requisition from applicant tracking system, job boards, career pages and social networks all in compliance with internal company policies.
- Review applications and screen resumes to ensure that they meet the minimum requirements of the job posting.
- Schedule interviews and collect interview evaluations from the hiring team.
- Process employment offer letters in the system.
- Launch the pre-employment screenings including assessments, background checks, and drug testing processes.
- Enter new hire information in our HR payroll system including contact details and track employment forms.
- Assist in in new hire orientation program and activities.
Requirements
Basic Requirements for the HR Intern
- Enrolled in post secondary program at an accredited university.
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Junior/Senior status.
- Must have an average GPA of 2.7.
- Must be currently authorized to work for Atos Medical in the US and not require future visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications for the HR Intern
- Enrolled in an undergraduate program in the field of studies: Human Resources, Liberal Arts, Business Administration or similar.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited institution in the US with a graduation date between December 2022 and May 2022.
- Preferred a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Be in Junior standing in the current 2020-2021 academic year.
- Prior internship or work experience desired.
- 1 year of administrative services/front office related experience preferred but not required.
Skills and Competencies for the HR Intern
- Proficient with the use of technology with programs such as MSO365, Brightree, Salesforce experience preferred but not required
- Must be have attention to detail and able to maintain accurate data entry activities.
- Possesses problem solving skills and takes initiative to resolve deadline conflicts.
- Ability to time manage, multitask, and prioritize multiple assignments.
- Outstanding communicator and proactively works to resolve issues with a positive, professional attitude.
- Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
