Responsibilities
- You will help to model high level service/operations behaviors, leading to functional and logical/physical architecture. These interfaces and requirements coming from this activity will dictate our system design and operating procedures.
- You will work closely with our lead engineers to learn Model Based Systems Engineering, working with a collaborative team to provide insight for how our electric aircraft operates within a UAM environment.
- You will review safety critical system analysis activities based on today's best system engineering practices, lessons learned and guidelines.
- You will own a slice of operating behavior to determine how our service should operate.
- You will support the functional validation and system requirements development efforts that support the Operations/Ground Service IPTs.
- You will be detail and technically oriented and have the ability to work proactively and effectively with supervision from a senior engineer, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced and challenging environment.
Requirements
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Working toward B.S. in engineering
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in technical writing
Eligibility Requirements
U.S. Citizenship is required
Minimum age is 16
Must be live in the US at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins to meet eligibility requirements
Must be either a rising junior or Senior
Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0
Transcripts are required. Unofficial transcripts are accepted
Must be an enrolled student at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins to meet eligibility requirements
Must be able to work 40 hours a week for 8 weeks (Full-time 2 months)
Must be able to work pacific standard time (PST)
