Reporting to the Senior Manager, Sales Operations, the Sales Operations Intern supports projects to improve efficiency, data quality and data reporting to improve overall sales performance.
This position provides extensive exposure to Salesforce.com and other sales productivity tools.
Internship Location: The internship will follow a hybrid model (combo of WFH and in-office work both in our Rosemont HQ office and our Chicago Office) to foster collaboration as well as flexibility. IMO remains committed to following safety precautions and guidelines regarding in-office work. Please only apply if you will be able to do both remote and on-site work at our Rosemont, IL offices (HQ).
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Work closely with Sales Operations team to learn core Salesforce functionality
- Review, inspect, and update many aspects of Salesforce data.
- Work with Sales Operations team to assist with Salesforce activities.
- Learn how to create Salesforce reports and dashboards to support business analysis and development.
- Perform analysis of revenue and sales data to support process improvements and increase sales velocity.
- Review sales quotes and orders to ensure they are consistent with company policies.
- Perform customer data analysis to allow the creation of customer proposals and quotes.
- Gain insight into the workings of a fast-growing SaaS business including the processes to improve it.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Diverse Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior level classroom experience and a passion within Business Administration, Marketing, Science, or related field.
- Curiosity and eagerness to explore B2B software/SaaS/Technology in Healthcare.
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong quantitative skills.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Passion for understanding complex ideas and explaining them in clear, simple terms.
- Motivated self-starter.
