Beacon Building Products is seeking a dedicated, committed, and hard-working student intern to assist with an exciting new vision that will change the way our organization, and each of our branches, strive to make every day safer for everyone who works for or with the Corporation. And, who will help us to embrace the ultimate ideal that is the nucleous to Corporate Environmental Responsibility and sustainability; engagement and commitment. Our vision is not to simply comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations, but to be the organization in our industry that all others strive to replicate.

The student interns (2) selected to participate in this 2022 initiative will gain experience in environmental responsibility, occupational health, safety compliance, sustainability, facilities management, wholesale operations, and also how a leading distributor of building supplies never stops building. You will be working among and with the entire EHS, Operations, and Facilities functions.

As a paid, full-time intern, you will be working on a truly visionary and challenging project, adding value to the organization, and gaining professional experience that will stay with you throughout your career. You will be working directly for our Deputy Director of EHS, who will help you to identify project goals and who will inspire, mentor and support your professional development.

Who we are looking for:
  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor's (Junior or Senior) or Master's program
    • Facilities Management
    • Engineering
    • Operational / Business Management
    • Related discipline
  • Be able to complete entirety of internship at a home/remote work location
  • Excellent English writing/grammar/editing skills (multi-lingual more than welcome)
  • Upbeat, curious, creative, with a learning attitude
  • Passion to drive excellence in facilities management
  • Desire to become proficient with MS Office 365, including SharePoint
