Early Talent Program Manager

As an Early Talent Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to research, design, and deliver a robust new graduate training program as part of our ever-growing organization.
Responsibilities:
- Research, develop, and deliver Splunk’s first ever new graduate Early Talent Program, in partnership with Early Talent team, HR partners, and Learning & Development.
- Work closely with appropriate internal partners to define clear program roadmaps and key action items, and implement processes and measurements for success.
- Engage business leaders and teams to clearly articulate Early Talent Program strategy, benefits, and timeline, and secure program headcount commitments.
- Build a 30/60/90 day roadmap for early talent hires to include a robust learning journey, key training, and development opportunities.
- Design, operationalize, and manage all hiring manager and program participant communications, onboarding, performance development, and related processes.
- Develop and coordinate best-in-class, high-touch programming activities that engage program participants and hiring managers across the organization.
- Engage business representatives, internal partners, and Early Talent team members to secure training and event participation commitments.
- Champion and facilitate the conversion of qualified internship talent into available full-time roles by partnering closely with Early Talent recruiters and business partners.
- Facilitate new hire orientation and act as the main point of contact for program participants and managers within their first six months of joining Splunk.
- Design and implement a ‘campus ambassador’ program to engage with internship alum to drive awareness and interest for our Early Talent Program.
- Develop, maintain, and report on key programs data and metrics, reflecting the team’s early talent activities, progress, and results with internal partners.
- Drive brand awareness internally and externally about Early Talent Programs through regular newsletters and social media highlights, blog posts, etc.
- Manage Early Talent Program budget and partner closely with recruiters, program managers, internal partners to ensure proper tracking and reconciliation of expenses.
- Provide process, program and other related training to hiring managers and teams, as needed, in partnership with HR partners and other key partners.
- Manage expectations and drive process: provide frequent program updates, identify, and communicate risks and adjustments to overall program, and ensure commitments are delivered.
- Partner with IT and other relevant internal partners to ensure early talent hires have appropriate access to systems and equipment, as needed.
- Develop standard methodologies, including supply market analysis, cost saving, process improvement, and organizational change expertise.
- Regularly evaluate current partnerships, investment, value, and potential partnerships with new national and community-based organizations.
- Act as liaison between internal teams for reviewing existing or potential products, programs and/or services.
- Offer mentorship and guidance to junior members of the Early Talent Programs team.
- Represent Splunk at on-campus and virtual university recruiting events, as well as at local and national conferences, as needed.
- Manage cross-functional TA and other related projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of early talent development and/or training programs experience
- Demonstrated understanding of guiding and mentoring early-in-career talent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong project management, process development, and planning skills
- Detail oriented and ability to multitask balancing multiple projects
- Incredible organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-directed and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally across all levels of the organization
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Ability to travel for program events and activities, as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Jobvite, Workday, Yello or other related tools/systems
- Participation in seminars and workshops around diversity in the workplace or relevant certification is a plus
- Prior people management experience
