Details of the program:
- The program is open to students at a Junior or Senior level in their Bachelor’s Degree program, studying for a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
- The Internship is for a full year, July 11, 2022 to May 26, 2023
- 29 hours per week during business hours (Business Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm)
- Paid internship

What you will be doing:
- Gain thorough understanding of the retailer support provided by the Technical Services function – including Product Investigation, Local Technical Support, Warranty – from target-setting to business plan deployment, measuring customer satisfaction and working with retailers in a structured manner to drive improvements in all areas
- Support the delivery of technical support to retailers when repairing customer vehicles
- Support warranty administrators in right first time claim submission on time
- Detect product quality trends and drive improvement actions
- Learn hands-on retailer experience in our local Technical Center
- Support/ lead reporting of the Technical Services function and provide feedback to stakeholders through retailer engagement forums (Shop Foreman Call, Warranty Administrator Call, Service Advisor Call)
- Review internal processes and drive continuous improvement including automated reporting (e.g. through Tableau)
- Support strategic projects in Technical Services to drive better retailer efficiency (e.g. TOPIx Cloud Diagnostics, Application Programming Interface Warranty Solution, New Claim Entry Update, Remote Assist through GCM)
- Perform other duties as required
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in progress (Junior or Senior), or pursuing a graduate studies degree during FY 22/23 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field (copy of transcript required)
- Strong Analytical background
- Understanding of how a vehicle operates including systems and component knowledge
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in progress (Junior or Senior), or pursuing a graduate studies degree during FY 22/23
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Preferred – knowledge in C++ and Tableau
