Position: IT Finance Engineer - Intern

Location: Sephora Field Support Center (FSC) – San Francisco, CA

Rate of Pay: $23/hr

As an IT Finance Engineer Intern you will:

• Apply theoretical learnings from your academic study and develop skills to support a future career in Financial Analytics
• Work with the Finance Business team in the capacity of a Technical Analyst/Engineer
• Document functional requirements for key projects assigned
• Partner with Developers and Engineers to create prototypes and functional design solutions
• Create Pseudo Algorithms
• Write Business use case and functional requirements for new features.
• Develop programs in SAP ECC, Sales Audit APTOS and New Tax engine Web APIs.
• Create test scenarios and success criteria for functional solutions.

What you will accomplish:

• Lead or assist on projects using a hands-on approach
• Build Interfaces for Tax system with Digital dotcom
• Build SAP ABAP code for new functionality or able to write functional flow.
• Learn from the best by interacting with a dynamic team of professionals

To help ensure success, we are requiring the following characteristics, skills and experiences:

Education and experience:

• Currently working on the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Currently a junior, senior or grad student
• Good knowledge of programming languages such as JAVA, PYTHON or C. Able to quickly learn ABAP

OR

Good knowledge of financial processes, accounting procedures and financial applications. College subjects should cover financials topics.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Power Point, Excel, Visio, Lucid Charts, google docs

Characteristics:

• Excellent written, verbal and listening skills
• Ability to document requirements and keen attention to details
• Ability to speak in front of groups that include both business and IT partners

Time Commitment:

• Hours: M-F 9AM -5PM at Sephora Office in San Francisco (expected to be physically in the office 5 days every week during standard business hours)
