Internship – Customer Service

About the Role:
MetaBank is looking for a Humble, Hungry and Smart intern who is eager to start their career within the Financial Industry. The intern will work under immediate supervision and have the chance to learn all about MetaBank while learning aspects of the Customer Service department and processes, including escheatment, account verification, credit processing, and addressing customer inquiries. Will perform a variety of tasks to support the Customer Service department which will include involvement in tasks to support the Bank's operations.
What You Will Do:
- Will help with administrative tasks to assist Customer Service management as assigned
- May provide data for reporting and other documents
- Documenting required information via system applications.
- Regularly interact and network with the team and with leadership.
- Effectively utilizing system applications to achieve desired outcome.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need:
- Interns must be Junior or greater with a GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Knowledge of bank regulatory compliance, policies, and procedures a plus
- Effective written and communication skills
- Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
