About the team

The Market Unit Intern is responsible for providing support for the development and execution of market unit Alliance & Partner programs and campaigns from a data-driven perspective on mining, tracking, reporting and creating visual roll-ups, all within the context of partner contacts and data. The intern will receive substantial guidance, feedback, and mentoring from the team to help them understand SAP, the market unit go-to-market strategy and deliverables. The intern will also have the opportunity to improve on processes and independently develop programs to support the overarching goals.

What you’ll do:

Position title: SAP iXp Intern – West Market Unit

Location: Remote/San Ramon

Expected start date to end date: June 2022 - October 2022, up to 20 hours per week

Expectations & Tasks

The Market Unit Intern will perform the following duties:

•Alliance & Partner Reporting •Matching forecast reports with Partner influence

Tracking of partner pipeline in system of record
Reporting Partner pipeline
Oversee Partner Summit lead identification, capture and report out and tracking – automating where possible

•Manage and automate a Partner data mining and mapping model •Validate partner focus areas based on market unit go-to-market strategy (industry, solution, revenue, geography and demo/POC capability)

Account mapping between partner and market unit customers/prospects
Validate, document and define best access to key partner contacts
Identify partner solutions that connect to SAP

•Contribute to the market unit White Space Analysis, from an Alliance & Partner perspective •Map product requirements to partner products

Build demand plan by quantifying license opportunities based on analysis
Assist with Customer data mining: to identify strategic Partners

Skills / Competencies

Motivated and organized person who is a self-starter and can multi-task
Basic understanding of information technology and its use in business
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
