ContiTech develops and produces functional parts, components, and systems for machine and plant engineering, mining, the automotive industry, and other important industries. Our Fairlawn, OH location is seeking an Industrial Sales & Marketing Intern to join our sales team! The ideal candidate would be willing to learn, is dependable, and would work well on a team.

  • This position is scheduled to start June 2022 and end August 2022. It can be remote in the U.S. reporting to our Fairlawn, OH HQ.
THE POSITION

The Industrial Sales & Marketing Intern will assist the North America Field Sales Team and Sales Operations in various projects to promote sales of industrial products. Projects will range from sales lead generation & distribution, competitive analysis, performing survey work, Salesforce (CRM) programming, and general administration duties. The ideal candidate would stay with us until they graduate. Upon graduation, they would have the opportunity to move into our Sales Trainee program, as long as, they have a strong performance during their internship.

Responsibilities:
  • Learn the Conti+ software and load data files for field sales
  • Process, qualify, and distribute sales leads to our sales colleagues in the field
  • Work with our Sales Leaders to complete market research to identify OEM opportunities for our products across North America
  • Learn about our Industrial Products and support the sales team with projects for customers

Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program
  • Must be at least junior standing
  • Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours
  • Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8
  • Positive attitude
  • Team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Work effectively across all functions: Marketing, Pricing, Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT as required
  • Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening

  • Working towards a Business Degree
