Job Description:
The Staffing & e-learning Intern will be responsible for assisting with transitioning staffing reporting to dynamic Power BI reporting for all departments of Training Services, creating analytics for staffing trends such as turnover rates, average time to hire, department staffing levels and others. The intern will support all the daily activities of the Human Assets team, such as publication of a monthly newsletter and assist with the coordination and communication processes of the Summer Internship program. The individual will assist with the design and development of e-learning modules in Articulate 360 e-learning software, transferring and updating current content and business operation processes to e-learning modules. The intern will also support the preparation of digital learning aids such as instructional material, visual aids, and videos.
**This is a remote opportunity, you will work from your home, you may be located anywhere in the USA**
Shift: Mon-Fri 8:30am EST to 5pm EST
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the development of staffing reports, including moving them to Power BI format, monthly staff newsletter, organizational charts, social medial posts, and other materials
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining email distribution list and employee contact information
  • Assist with the design and development of e-learning modules in Articulate 360 e-learning software
  • Support team with research projects such as collecting and evaluating trend data related to HR; prepares reports as needed

Education: Sophomore, a rising Junior and Senior in bachelor's degree program. Internship is typically part of an undergraduate program which requires some university credit hours.

Experience: Up to 1 year of related experience.

Skills & Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Ability to work on a team.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The work environment will consist of moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones and printers, light traffic). The employee must have the ability to work in a small cubicle and have the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
